Start with the essentials
Your next step.
First check rights over the plot and the project rules. For a MAETUR operation, obtain the documents and conditions for the specific development. Find an architect on ONAC’s roll and ask the local council which planning authorisation applies.
- Check the lot and development-specific conditions.
- Define a registered architect’s assignment.
- Confirm authorisation with the local council.

Answers to your questions.
What should I ask about a MAETUR plot?
Identify the development, lot and official sales office. Request written availability, allocation documents, payment conditions, development covenants and infrastructure actually planned. MAETUR’s development role does not establish identical services or terms for every plot.
Do the plot documents authorise construction?
Clarify land status, boundaries and outstanding formalities with the relevant services. A sales file and planning authorisation address different matters. Give the territorial MINDCAF office the lot references when title or boundaries need checking.
How do I check the architect and assignment?
Look for the professional on ONAC’s roll and ask the Order to clarify uncertain status. Define the plans, studies, permit work and supervision you commission. Ask who coordinates other technical studies and which deliverables the fees cover.
Who handles the permit enquiry?
Article 158 of the General Code of Regional and Local Authorities includes building permits among powers transferred to councils. Contact the council covering the site to confirm the office, application, technical reviews and authorisation for the project. Do not treat submission alone as permission to start.
