1. About these terms
These interim terms govern use of izao.africa and its property publishing, search, dashboard and enquiry services. By using an account or submitting content, you agree to follow them.
iZao provides a marketplace and publishing service. Unless a listing expressly says otherwise, iZao is not the seller, landlord, buyer, tenant, property owner, broker, lawyer or surveyor in a transaction.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be legally able to use the service and provide accurate account information. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access credentials secure. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use.
3. Publishing property
A publisher must have the right or authorization to advertise the property. Listing descriptions, prices, availability, location, photos and professional details must be current, truthful and not misleading.
- Do not publish duplicate, fraudulent or unavailable property.
- Do not conceal material facts or impersonate an owner or professional.
- Do not upload content that infringes privacy, copyright or other rights.
- Do not use iZao for unlawful discrimination, scams, malware or unsolicited messaging.
4. Content and intellectual property
You retain rights you hold in content you upload. You grant the service a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host, reproduce, resize, display and distribute that content as needed to operate and promote the listing. You confirm that you have the rights needed to grant this licence.
The iZao name, interface and original platform materials may not be copied or misused except where the law permits.
5. Enquiries and transactions
Enquiries are delivered to the publisher or relevant professional. Users must handle contact details responsibly. iZao does not guarantee a response, the identity of another user, the accuracy of a listing, financing, title, condition, availability or completion of a transaction. Carry out appropriate identity, title, legal and physical checks before committing funds.
6. Moderation and suspension
We may review, restrict, suspend, remove or preserve accounts, listings or content when reasonably necessary for safety, legal compliance, rights protection or enforcement of these terms. We may ask for evidence supporting a listing.
7. Availability and third parties
The service may change or be unavailable. Links and infrastructure supplied by third parties are subject to their own terms. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation.
8. Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided without guarantees beyond those that cannot legally be excluded. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that applicable law does not permit us to exclude. Users remain responsible for independent professional advice and transaction decisions.
9. Privacy and changes
Our Privacy Policy explains personal-data processing. We may update these terms prospectively and will publish the updated date. Material changes may also be communicated through the service.
10. Governing law and contact
The final governing-law and dispute-resolution clause will be inserted after the operating company and its jurisdiction are established. Mandatory consumer and data-protection rights continue to apply. Contact: hello@izao.africa.
